First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić met with Tomislav Dončev, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Economic Policies, for talks on the prospects of Croatia and Bulgaria’s coordinating within the EU policies and mechanisms, notably energy, transport and the region’s stability, which is in the interest of both countries. Dončev offered the transfer of experiences regarding absorption of EU funds. As for energy, given that of the 15 European Commission’s priority projects five are Croatian and five Bulgarian, the interlocutors agreed that it was important that as many countries as possible benefited from their realization, underlining it as a vital area of the two countries’ future cooperation.
