Deputy FM Klisović in Monaco presents Croatia’s investment opportunities

Deputy Foreign and European Affairs Minister Joško Klisović 3 March paid a visit to the Principality Monaco, where a workshop on investment opportunities in Croatia was organised by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs

Deputy Foreign and European Affairs Minister Joško Klisović 3 March paid a visit to the Principality Monaco, where a workshop on investment opportunities in Croatia was organised by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, Investment and Competitiveness Agency and Monaco Chamber of Economic Development. The Croatian delegation also included Deputy Prime Minister responsible for regional development and EU funds Branko Grčić and Director of Investment and Competitiveness Agency Damir Novinić.

The Croatian delegation met with executives of companies in the fields of tourism, shipbuilding, construction, renewables and pharmaceutical industry, familiarizing them with the economic situation and priority projects in Croatia. Klisović also held talks with Government Counsellor for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Gilles Tonelli on cooperation in psychosocial rehabilitation and reintegration of mine victims. The officials underscored the importance of inking economic agreements as Monaco has expressed interest in investing in tourism and environmental protection projects.

Grčić also met with Minister of State Michel Roger, with whom he discussed opportunities for developing Monaco-Croatia relations, with emphasis on economic cooperation. They proposed signing an agreement on cooperation in industry, culture and sports.

The working visit was organized with the help of Jean Kerwat, Croatian Honorary Consul to Monaco.
