The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly (social, humanitarian and cultural affairs) voted 21 November in New York on the Draft Resolution on “Combatting glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”, with Croatia abstaining along with partners from the EU and the other 27 UN member states.
The Resolution was adopted with 115 votes for, 55 abstentions and three votes against (the US, Canada and Ukraine).
