Deputy Minister Klisović attends meeting of Croatian-Hungarian cooperation committee

Deputy Minister Joško Klisović headed a Croatian delegation at the 9th meeting of the Croatian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee, held 10-11 November in Budapest

Deputy Minister Joško Klisović headed a Croatian delegation at the 9th meeting of the Croatian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee, held 10-11 November in Budapest. The officials agreed on continuing the cooperation in economy, cross-border cooperation, spatial development, tourism, health tourism, agriculture, environmental protection, water management and minority protection. They signed a programme of educational and scientific cooperation between the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and the Hungarian Human Resources Ministry for the 2014-2017 period.

Klisović also held talks with Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó and Secretary of State for Economic Diplomacy Levente Magyar, with whom he discussed investment projects aimed at improving Europe’s energy security. The officials also talked about strengthening the economic cooperation, the situation in the region and the European prospects of the Southeast European countries.
