At the invitation by the Czech side, Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić held regular bilateral political consultations with the Czech officials: Deputy Foreign Minister Drulák, State Secretary for European Affairs at the Czech Government Tomáš Prouza and Director General of the European Section at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivo Šrámek
The officials discussed topical European issues, energy policy and supply security, economic growth and competitiveness, EU transport policy and active support for the enlargement process.
They also talked about the prospects of cooperation with the countries of Central Europe within the Višegrad Group and other possibilities of cooperation in the Central European space.
The consultations arranged for further exchange of experiences as well as the best practice in the EU affairs coordination and a more effective way to act within the EU.
