First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusić is attending a meeting of the General Affairs Council in Luxembourg. Ahead of the meeting, Pusić stated that Croatia supported Albania’s being granted the EU candidate status.
Albania deserves it given the progress it has achieved and the criteria it has met, Pusić said, adding that “it is an important step forward, but still a long way from membership.”
