Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Batistić Kos 23 June participated in the fourth meeting of the Regional Housing Programme Steering Committee. She expressed satisfaction with the onset of the programme’s implementation stage, the construction of a multi-story building in Korenica, applauding the signing of a grant agreement for two more projects.
The meeting also discussed the effect of the recent floods on the implementation of RHP in partner countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia. Batistić Kos underlined the need for strengthening regional capacities in dealing with natural disasters and the ensuing humanitarian crisis. She thanked all the donors and international partners for their help, emphasizing Croatia’s commitment to RHP implementation.
