Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović today held a meeting with representatives of the Croatian companies doing business in Iraq and informed them about the complex security situation in the country caused by the recent uptick in violence.
Together with Croatian Ambassador to Iraq Jerko Vukas, the interlocutors reviewed the implications for Croatian companies’ doing business as well as discussed further steps to protect the interests of Croatian citizens and Croatia’s economic interests in Iraq.
Attending the meeting were some 20 Croatian companies as well as representatives of the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
