Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović 30 June received Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alex Petriashvili.
The two officials discussed Georgia’s EU and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, with Klisović congratulating Georgia on signing the EU accession treaty and offering assistance and the transfer of Croatia’s negotiating experience through the Centre of Excellence. Klisović and Petriashvili also talked about advancing the solid, but underdeveloped bilateral cooperation, notably its economic part. The Georgian state minister outlined the prospects of foreign investments in Georgia, inviting Minister Pusić and Deputy Minister Klisović to officially visit Georgia.
Petriashvili was also received by Assistant Minister for Multilateral Affairs and Global Issues Vesna Batistić Kos, Assistant Minister for European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić, and Centre of Excellence Director Mirna Vlašić Feketija.
