Assistant Minister for European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić met with a group of teachers from all over Croatia as part of the “Cooperation with Teachers in EU Affairs” project, aimed at intensifying cooperation with CSOs and schools as well as offering professional assistance to teachers in EU information and education.
Marušić underlined the importance the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs placed on communication with teachers, students and the media on EU-related topics. The need for informing has increased since Croatia joined the EU so the MFEA in cooperation with CSOs will step up communication and information activities in order to raise the level of knowledge and education about the EU.
The project was organized by the MFAE, GONG and the Freedom of Education Forum, and was realized in cooperation with the European Commission Representation, European Parliament Information Office and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
