At a dinner organized by the outgoing Chilean president Pinera, Minister Pusić held talks with the US Vice President Joe Biden and former Finnish foreign minister Tarja Halonen.
Pusić and Biden discussed the region of Southeast Europe, its development and stabilizations. “Interest, understanding and direct sympathies with Croatia, as well as willingness to cooperate with us on a number of European topics, notably the region,” Pusić said.
With Halonen, Pusić discussed the establishment of an informal women’s network. Halonen who herself has launched a number of initiatives regarding the reproductive health of women, showed interest in the initiative and is expected to join it.
