Deputy Foreign and European Affairs Minister Joško Klisović presented investment possibilities in Croatia and its export potential to more than 50 Shanghai business people who expressed an interest in doing business with Croatia. Klisović spoke of the new investment legislation and government incentives, namely the strategic investments law, as well as investment costs. He also outlined industry advantages and the areas in which Croatia plans to attract investors such as the energy sector, tourism and transport, notably the motorway leasing project and the sale of a stake in Croatia Airlines.
Business community representatives expressed satisfaction with the presentation and the catalogues, as well as with the fact that Croatia has a highly-skilled work force with lower labor costs in comparison to its surroundings.
