Deputy Minister Klisović meets with director of German international cooperation agency

Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović received Brigitte Heuel-Rolf, the Regional Director at GIZ, German agency for international cooperation

Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović received Brigitte Heuel-Rolf, the Regional Director at GIZ, German agency for international cooperation, with whom he discussed areas of cooperation in Southeast Europe. Heuel-Rolf said that stabilization, European integration and economic development of the Western Balkans was in the interest of the German government who by joining the potential of different donors wished to achieve added value through development programmes in Southeast Europe. Klisović pointed out that Euro-Atlantic integration of Southeast Europe, i.e. stimulating far-reaching reforms in its countries, was one of the priorities of the Croatian government, whose aim is to create a stable and progressive neighbourhood. The tow officials agreed this was yet another joint interest in shaping the partnership between Germany and Croatia with the aim of stimulating sustainable development of the Southeast European countries, which has a direct influence on the realization of EU goals as well.
