Assistant Minister Marušić holds political consultations in Estonia

Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić held political consultations. He met with Mart Laanemäe, the Undersecretary for Europe and Transatlantic Relations at MFA, and Märt Volmer, Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Policy

Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić held political consultations. He met with Mart Laanemäe, the Undersecretary for Europe and Transatlantic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Märt Volmer, Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Policy.

The talks focused on current European policies and Croatia’s intent to actively participate in the Union’s reform processes. In regard to the enlargement policy, the officials underlined Croatia’s role as a new member in the transfer of know-how and experiences to the Southeast European countries undergoing the European integration process. The Estonian side shared its experiences with Euro introduction and entering the Schengen Area, and then both sides exchanged experiences in different approaches to coordination of European affairs. The officials expressed intent to intensify cooperation within the EU in policies of mutual interest.
