The Republic of Croatia harshly and unequivocally condemns today’s terrorist attack on a bus in Tel Aviv, injuring a large number of persons and aimed at killing innocent civilians. Attacks on civilians are an unacceptable way of achieving political goals and Croatia expresses support for the Israeli people and authorities in their fight against terrorism and extremism. Croatia also supports the efforts of the international community and Egypt to assuage the conflict in Israel and the Gaza Strip and achieve a truce in order to prevent further escalation of the crisis, with possibly deadly consequences for the wider region.
