Pusić receives representatives of Swiss Federal Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee

Committee Chairman Hannes Germann said Croatia had made an impressive progress, both during the negotiations and now in the final phase of joining the EU

Committee Chairman Hannes Germann said Croatia had made an impressive progress, both during the negotiations and now in the final phase of joining the EU. Germann pointed out Switzerland was present in the region through development and reconstruction aid as well as mine action, and inquired about Croatia’s view on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as he planned to visit that country as well. Pusić said Croatia was not only focused on the final stages of the negotiations but on the region is well, both the immediate neighbourhood and the Southern Mediterranean, and was taking part in peacekeeping mission, with special emphasis on the education of women and girls. In regards to the state of affairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pusić said a stable region was in Croatia’s interest and that the Centre of Excellence organized seminars and trainings in BiH.
