The two officials pointed out that the memorandum would be an important instrument for instigating a more active cooperation between the two ministries and serve as a basis for the holding of first bilateral consultations between the two countries.
The consultations should strengthen the bilateral relations in all areas, from political and economic to cultural and scientific. The Croatian community in Columbia could serve a basis for the strengthening of cooperation, it was pointed out.
Both sides praised the multilateral cooperation and advocated the exchange of experience and knowledge in dealing with the global issues.
