The United States are insisting on energy diversification, considering it to be crucial for safety, and are interested in Croatia’s energy network. Hochstein underlined the importance of energy diversification in terms of safety, as well as the country’s foreign and economic policy.
Pusić pointed out Croatia’s national and regional energy potential, underscoring the significance of building an LNG terminal in Omišalj. Linking that terminal with the Central European gas corridor would connect the Adriatic and the Baltic.
