The lower house of the Polish parliament, the Sejm, ratified 14 September 2012 Croatia's EU Accession Treaty, with 431 votes for and one sustained.
Minister Pusić, who was on a working visit to Latvia, said this was an encouragement as there had been speculations that the process would be stopped due to the interior policy in Poland.
In a telephone call, Pusić thanked her Polish counterpart Sikorski, who confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries and welcomed Croatia to the European family.
