Ambassador Jaffery assessed the bilateral relations as excellent, and congratulated the Croatian side on the completion of the EU negotiations. He stressed that there is room for improvement of the economic cooperation, particularly in the areas of the textile industry, agriculture and energy, to which the minister agreed. Minister Pusić informed Ambassador Jaffery of the completion of the negotiations between the Republic of Croatia and the European Union, and on the ratification process of the Croatian Accession Agreement. She stressed that Croatia's goal is to see all the countries of the region become EU members in the near future.
Ambassador Jaffery extended the invitation of Pakistani Foreign Minister, Hine Rabbani Khar for Minister Pusić to pay an official visit to Pakistan.
