Talking about the Ljubljanska Banka debt issue, Pusić announced the possibility of the two governments hiring two experts to help solve the dispute. "We want to solve the Ljubljanska Banka issue, i.e. the issue of one part of the (former) clients. We talked about hiring two experts in looking for a solution, but I need the mandate of the prime minister and the government for that," Pusić said. She stressed that the ratification of Croatia's EU Accession Treaty should not be linked to it.
Erjavec said he was pleased that talks on the issue continued and that experts should weigh in on how to solve it. He, too, said he must obtain his government's mandate to involve them.
