Thanking Fischer for the excellent cooperation during his term, Pusić once again expressed gratitude to Germany for continuously supporting Croatia along its path of European integration.
In light of Croatia’s pending EU membership, Fischer said Germany would continue assisting Croatia, namely in terms of using the EU funds and cooperating on potential joint projects.
The two officials exchanged opinions about the state of affairs in the region and beyond, while Pusić recalled that the focus of this year’s Croatia Summit would be on the effects of EU accession and post-conflict transition on state institutions and the society in general.
