A round table discussion on the topic “Croatia – Bavaria – Germany together in the EU” was held at the Hotel Regent Esplanade in Zagreb as part of the series of public expert debates entitled “Zagreb, EU – Brunch & Debate”.
In the first part of the event, dedicated to the topic “Perspectives of Croatian-Bavarian relations in the light of Croatia's accession to the European Union”, speakers were Assistant to the Minister for European Affairs Hrvoje Marušić and State Minister for Federal and European Affairs Emilia Müller, who participated in the round table as part of her stay in the Republic of Croatia on the occasion of the 31st Session of the Permanent Bavarian-Croatian Commission in Zagreb.
In the second part, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Croatia Dr. Bernd Fischer gave a speech on the topic “German-Croatian relations, challenges and possibilities”.
The fundamental idea behind these expert meetings is to stimulate permanent dialogue among the experts and the academic community and the domestic and foreign public, aimed at discussing the issues and profiling the continued activities of the Republic of Croatia as a Member State of the European Union.
