Pusić receives outgoing Macedonian Ambassador Dančo Markovski

Pusić thanked Markovski for the cooperation and contribution to the advancement of the relations between Croatia and Macedonia during his term. She said Croatia supported the European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes in all the countries of the region, including Macedonia, looking to achieve full stability in Europe’s southeast.

Markovski said Macedonia saw Croatia as a friend and partner, and was open to cooperation in all the areas of bilateral and regional importance. He voiced satisfaction with the position of the Macedonian national minority in Croatia, including the fact that there is a Macedonian language department at Zagreb’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Croatian minister said she expected Macedonian officials to attend this year’s Croatia Summit.
