Outlined were the main emphases, measures and deadlines from the action plan, drawn up following the European Commission's monitoring report on Croatia, published 24 April 2012. A special emphasis was placed on the chapters on competition policy, judiciary and fundamental rights, justice, freedom and security. The officials pointed out that the action plan confirmed the government’s dedication to timely fulfilment of Croatia’s pre-accession commitments.
Representatives of the EU and its member-states thanked for the information, expressing satisfaction with the action plan and voicing support for Croatia’s efforts to meet the commitments.
