Inzko also met with Croatian President Ivo Josipović and Deputy Prime Minister Neven Mimica.

He presented the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the government formation, stressing the optimism with which EU and NATO membership had been set as priorities. Inzko welcomed the agreement between the six party leaders on state and military property, hopeful that it would be implemented soon, as it would facilitate Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress towards joining NATO’s Membership Action Plan.

The high representative said Croatia could serve as a positive example to Bosnia and Herzegovina in its Euro-Atlantic integration. Pusić voiced Croatia’s willingness to share its pre-accession experiences with the rest of the countries of Southeast Europe.

The two officials also exchanged views on the possibility of practical cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in economy, namely in light of Croatia’s pending EU membership.
