Pusić received Turkish Ambassador Burak Özügergin

The two officials expressed satisfaction with the friendly and intensive bilateral relations on all levels

The two officials expressed satisfaction with the friendly and intensive bilateral relations on all levels. As one of the priorities, they underlined the need to revive cooperation between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey, while supporting the countries in the region in their European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations with a view to stabilising Southeast Europe.

Pusić said she expected Turkish representatives to attend the Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik this summer, which will focus on the transfer of Croatia’s experience in post-conflict institution and state building.

The minister recalled last week’s talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on the fringes of the EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Brussels, voicing satisfaction with the announcement of his official visit to Croatia in early May.

Özügergin briefed Pusić about the Friends of Syria meeting to take place 1 April in Istanbul, aimed at finding a solution to the Syrian crisis.
