Pusić received South Korean Ambassador to Croatia Seong Ung Park

Pusić and the South Korean ambassador described the two countries’ bilateral relations as very good

Pusić and the South Korean ambassador described the two countries’ bilateral relations as very good, agreeing that Croatia’s pending EU membership would open up new cooperation possibilities. They also talked about plans for political consultations between the two countries' foreign ministries and the possibility of Foreign and Trade Minister Kim Sung Hwan visiting Croatia.

In light of South Korea's interest in the opening of a Croatian embassy in Seoul, Pusić said Croatia considered this issue to be a priority.

Both sides highlighted the need to intensify economic cooperation in view of the existing possibilities, namely the Korean business people’s interest to invest in Croatia. Pusić said Croatia welcomed every initiative to increase Korean investment, notably in big infrastructure and energy projects. She also said Croatia was interested in the transfer of Korea’s experience in attracting foreign investment and investing in renewable energy.

Puić said tourism was also promising, since more than 33,000 South Koreans visited Croatia in 2011.
