The meeting focused on the pending regional conference of Norwegian ambassadors from Southeast European countries and Norwegian Foreign Ministry officials, which is scheduled to take place in Zagreb on 20 February. Pusić will address the conference on Croatia's experience from the Euro-Atlantic integration processes and on the prospects and goals of the Southeast European countries.
Pusić told Ofstad that Croatia was interested in the successful model of regional cooperation between Norway and the other Scandinavian countries within the Nordic Council.
The minister thanked Norway for the assistance it had continuously extended to Croatia since it became independent 20 years ago, citing economic and humanitarian aid, cooperation in development projects, assistance in mine clearance operations, and the funding of activities relating to Croatia's preparations for EU membership.
