The embassy is currently being headed by chargé d’affaires ad interim Vojko Senker, pending the arrival of the new Croatian ambassador to Libya.
The note also recalls the fact that Croatia recognized the National Transitional Council as the legitimate representative of Libyan people 28 June 2011.
It also recalls the communication with the National Transitional Council during June this year, when the Libyan Embassy in Zagreb was recognized as the legitimate diplomatic representation of the National Transitional Council in Croatia, headed by Abdelhakim A. A. Allafi.
