Ambassador Vandoren presented the latest survey conducted for the EU Delegation on the opinions of the Croatian citizens about Croatia’s EU accession.

It was concluded that the results largely coincide with the results of the regular surveys conducted for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration by public opinion research agencies. In that regard, the collocutors expressed satisfaction with the continuously high level of support among the Croatian citizens for Croatia’s joining the EU.

At the same time, they stressed the importance of continually informing the citizens about the advantages of the EU membership. In light of that, Minister Jandroković informed Ambassador Vandoren about the activities planed for the coming pre-referendum information campaign about Croatia’s membership in the EU. The collocutors also agreed on further cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the EU Delegation to Croatia.
