The collocutors expressed their satisfaction at meeting again and confirmed excellent relations between the two states. Minister Jandroković thanked the US for their strong support during the process of Croatia's negotiations with the European Union.

Senator Begich congratulated the Republic of Croatia on its major foreign policy success and highlighted that the successful conclusion of negotiations represents a great example and a strong incentive for other countries in South East Europe. In this regard, the collocutors agreed that Euro-Atlantic perspective is the only guarantee of stability and prosperity for all countries in the region.

Minister Jandroković also thanked senator Begich on his personal involvement in promoting the inclusion of the Republic of Croatia in the Visa Waiver Program, which would be of exceptional importance for Croatia. He stressed that the inclusion of Croatia in the program could have impact in particular on the improvement of economic cooperation between the two states.

On the occasion, the minister presented the possibilities for investment in the Republic of Croatia to senator Begich.
