At the intergovernmental conference on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the EU, held in Brussels 30 June 2011, negotiations on accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union were formally concluded. On 29 June 2011 the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted a Conclusion pursuant to which the Croatian public was granted access to the negotiating documents of the Republic of Croatia which were adopted during the process, and pursuant to which the Government held negotiations with the European Union.
The documents include negotiating positions and supplements to negotiating positions of the Republic of Croatia on individual chapters, and reports on the fulfilment of commitments from individual chapters of the negotiations, and can be accessed on the internet site.
At the press conference, Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor also presented the design of the visual identity and the motto of the public information campaign to be launched before the referendum on Croatia's accession to the European Union.
The contest was divided into two groups: design of the visual identity and the motto. 67 submissions were received for the design, and 130 submissions for the motto. The jury comprised four representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and three representatives of the profession. The jury decided with a majority of votes on the proposal for the visual identity - the logo, and the proposal for verbal communication – the motto „Where We Belong“, created by Innovo DDB d.o.o.
