Apart from CEI and the Dubrovnik Centre for Advanced Academic Studies, University of Zagreb, this year’s forum was organized in cooperation with the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) and the London Academy of Diplomacy, University of East Anglia.

The three-day forum of 60 odd experts from 22 European and Mediterranean countries, as well as high CEI, Union for the Mediterranean and European Parliament representatives, saw the discussion on the contributions of regional and interregional cooperation in diplomacy and diplomatic education, especially in regard to intensifying the cooperation of Central and South Eastern Europe with the Mediterranean countries.

The forum pointed out that Dubrovnik had been internationally recognized as an important centre of Euro-Mediterranean diplomatic cooperation and principally agreed on organizing a similar diplomatic forum in Cairo. The theme of the XV Dubrovnik Diplomatic Forum in 2012 is to be “Diplomacy and Intercultural Dialogue”.
