The collocutors discussed the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the United Arab Emirates.
Deputy Foreign Minister Gargash thanked the Croatian government for deciding to liberalize the visa regime and allow free entry for all the UAE citizens holding a Schengen visa, which should intensify tourist cooperation.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of opening a diplomatic representation of the Republic of Croatia in one of the Gulf States, which is a basis for the further strengthening of economic relations.
Minister Jandroković and Deputy Minister Gargash also talked about the cooperation within the ISAF, where Croatia as a NATO member was asked to assist in opening the UAE diplomatic representation to NATO.
