The collocutors expressed satisfaction over the fact that the two countries’ bilateral relations ere developing in the spirit of friendship and with no outstanding issues.
They expressed readiness to continue developing the two countries’ overall relations in all the areas of mutual interest, stating they believed that that would be contributed to by the two countries’ historical connection as well, which stems from San Marino’s being founded by Saint Marinus from the Croatian island of Rab.
In that regard, they agreed on finding the ways to promote that historical fact and marking the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The meeting also discussed the actualities in regard to the final stages of Croatia’s EU accession negotiations.
