Minister Jandroković thanked all those present for their effort and contribution during the past year, wishing them happy holidays.
He described 2010 as one the most successful years in term of foreign policy since Croatia’s gaining of independence. Within NATO, Croatia has stabilized and strengthened its status, as well as fortified the relations with its partners.
Minister Jandroković also remarked on the EU accession negotiations in lights of yesterday’s closure of three chapters and expressed hope that the whole accession process would be completed during Hungary’s EU presidency in the first half of the following year.
He also pointed out that Croatia had continued with the active policy of regional cooperation aim at completely stabilizing the region of South Eastern Europe.
He emphasized the dedication of all the structures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration towards developing the economic diplomacy system, as part of which the first cycle of appointing trade attaches has recently been launched.
