The meting was organized on the suggestion by the UK Embassy in Zagreb, for the purposes of further presenting Croatia as a desirable investment destination.
Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction over the meeting, as well as today’s round table in the City of London, saying he believed that too would contribute to the enhancement of the two countries’ economic relations.
He presented the comparative advantages of Croatia in light of its NATO and future EU membership. As important characteristics of the Croatian economic system he pointed out the geographical position and transport infrastructure conducive to further linkage with the markets of South Eastern and Central Europe, as well as the Mediterranean, functional market economy harmonized with the EU standards, macroeconomic stability and zero tolerance for corruption.
He also informed the present parties about the Croatian Government’s measures for economic recovery, expressing belief in the continued interest of British businessmen in the Croatian market.
