Minister Jandrokovć expressed his support for the work of the Islamic Organisation for Education, Science and Culture, established in 1979 and headquartered in Morocco, that contributes to world peace and security.
He also pointed out the importance attached in Croatia's foreign policy to relations with Islamic states and the importance of cooperation between nations of different cultures and religions, contributing to mutual understanding and tolerance.
Director General Altwaijri expressed his satisfaction with the status of the Islamic Community in the Republic of Croatia and with the fact that it is an officially recognised religious community, as one of the few such instances in Europe, and financially supported by the state. In the words of Director General Altwaijri, Croatia may serve as an example to other states in Europe.
