He thanked his host for his personal contribution to the development and enhancement of the relations between Croatia and Korea.
Minister Jandroković described the two countries’ parliamentary cooperation as very good, augmented by the relations development within the Croatia-Korea Friendship Group in both of the parliaments.
The collocutors agreed that the exceptionally good political relations are not adequately accompanied by the economic ones. In that regard, Minister Jandroković invited the Korean investors to take advantage of the excellent geostrategic position of the Adriatic ports – the closest link to the countries of Central Europe. Also, Croatia welcomes investments in construction and modernization of infrastructural projects as well.
Analyzing the economic cooperation, Minister Jandroković and Chairman Kwon pointed out the need for its intensification, especially in tourism and transport. Both expressed satisfaction with the constant rise in the number of Korean tourists visiting Croatia, as well as with the first direct charter flight from Soul to Croatia, scheduled for 18 September.
