State Secretary Andrej Plenković presented Croatian Government’s 2010/2011 scholarships to future attendees of postgraduate studies abroad

Five scholarships were awarded for postgraduate multidisciplinary European studies at the University of Sussex, the United Kingdom, and two for the postgraduate European Union law studies at the University of Ghent, the Kingdom of Belgium

Five scholarships were awarded for postgraduate multidisciplinary European studies at the University of Sussex, the United Kingdom, and two for the postgraduate European Union law studies at the University of Ghent, the Kingdom of Belgium.

The seven scholarship awardees signed the contracts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration defining their rights and obligations, one of which is working in public administration bodies for three years upon the completion of their studies. “This contributes to the strengthening of Croatia’s administrative structure, with an emphasis on educating the European affairs experts”, said State Secretary Plenković.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has been running the program of financing postgraduate studies abroad since 1998 and has so far included more than 250 awardees.
