Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction with the intensity of meetings between Croatian and Canadian officials, which contributes to the further strengthening and solidification of the two countries’ friendly and partnership relations. He especially mentioned the recent visit to Croatia by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
The collocutors also discussed the ISAF mission and the areas of defence where cooperation can be intensified. Economic cooperation was also a topic, with Minister Jandroković pointing out some of the major possible projects open to foreign investments.
The meeting also discussed the state of affairs in South Eastern Europe, where Minister Jandroković said that Croatia’s NATO membership sent a positive message to the rest of the region, declaring Croatia’s strong support for the neighbouring countries’ Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
