The relations between the two countries were described as excellent and friendly. The collocutors expressed satisfaction with the frequent and numerous contacts between the two countries’ officials, which have an affirmative effect on the constant positive development of all segments of Croatia and Turkey’s bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Özügergin singled out the intensive cooperation and exchange of information about the state of affairs in South Eastern Europe. The meeting also discussed the political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina pending the parliamentary elections in October, as well as the country’s further NATO accession following the decision to admit it to MAP.
The collocutors agreed that the excellent political bilateral relations are an important precondition for the further strengthening of economic cooperation.
