On arriving in the Memorial Centre in Potočari Minister Jandroković said that it is important to remember the genocide committed in the name of the ideology which had supported brutal ethnic cleansing in the name of a sick idea of ethnically clean Greater Serbia.

He said that people in the Republic of Croatia are particularly sensitive to such matters, due to crimes committed in Vukovar, Škabrnja and other villages and towns. Minister Jandroković added that the message that must be sent from Srebrenica is that such crimes must never be repeated.

He also said that all those who had organised the genocide in Srebrenica and all those who had committed it should be brought to justice and most severely punished so that we could open a new page of cooperation in South East Europe.

Minister Jandroković expressed his condolences for all the victims and extended his sympathy to the families of the murdered and the missing.
