In his address Minister Jandroković shared with the participants his vision of the future Europe in which all countries of its South East would assume the responsibility of full membership in the European Union, and at the same time be actively engaged within NATO. He said that this would create prerequisites for the economic and political stability of the region. Regional cooperation would result in resolving all open bilateral issues. Continuing, he said that the countries of the region had already achieved substantial progress, among others, owing to different regional initiatives.

Minister Jandroković said that Croatia's plan is to finalize the accession negotiations at the end of the current or at the beginning of the following year so that it could sign the Accession Treaty with the European Union. In the light of that, he added that the success of the Republic of Croatia is a strong incentive for the countries in the region, and reiterated that Croatia is ready to continue to share its knowledge and experience with all the countries in the region and support their European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

In his concluding remarks, Minister Jandroković said that he was convinced that the countries of South East Europe would continue to invest huge efforts in terms of strengthening security, stability, and cooperation on their mutual path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
