The opinion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia is that it is necessary to avoid any further escalation of conflicts and that this incident needs to be investigated in accordance with international norms.

We would also like to express our hope that this incident will not endanger the newly renewed peace process in the Middle East and stress the importance of allowing access of humanitarian aid to civil population in the Gaza region.
