The construction of the basic health centre was financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration from the funds of development aid to foreign countries amounting to USD 236 000 USD, and the centre was completed in December 2009.

The health centre employs two doctors and two medical technicians. They have about 60-100 patients per day and treat them according to the standards of the Afghan Ministry of Health. This health centre covers an area populated by 10 000 inhabitants.

Representatives of local authorities thanked the people and the Government of the Republic of Croatia, who made possible the construction of the health centre. They said that the next biggest problem was drinking water.
