The meeting saw the exchange of experiences with the activities regarding public diplomacy, public relations, public communication and preparation for implementing communication strategies, with an emphasis on the Communication Strategy for Informing the Croatian Public about Croatia’s EU Membership.
Spokesperson Manz-Christ informed the representatives from various MFAEI directorates and departments, as well as the Diplomatic Academy, about the foreign-policy activities and organization of Liechtenstein’s foreign service.
State Secretary for European Integration Andrej Plenković also met with Spokesperson Manz-Christ, familiarizing her with the actualities regarding Croatia’s EU accession process. The collocutors also expressed hope for an even better cooperation between the two countries following Croatia’s entry to the EU, in light of Liechtenstein’s being a member of the European Economic Area.
Spokesperson Manz-Christ is also to participate in this week’s Diplomatic Forum, organized in Dubrovnik by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the Central European Initiative.
