In addition to former excellent cooperation between Croatia and Finland in the area of meteorology, Croatia is, because of its big regional climate differences, a very important scientific area even for the monitoring of effects of climate change.

The visit included presentations of Finish research projects, technological innovations and models for interconnecting the Meteorological institute with a series of institutions related to the country’s national security.
