The collocutors described the relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Korea as being at a high level, confirming the joint interest in further intensification of bilateral cooperation in the areas of common interest. They pointed out the fact that Ambassador Byun is the first resident ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Croatia as a very good indicator of the level of relations achieved between the two countries.
Minister Jandroković thanked Ambassador Byun for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations, especially his efforts to intensify economic cooperation, which is a priority in the relations between the two states. They agreed that the industries of interest for the cooperation were shipbuilding, tourism, energy, and, in particular, infrastructural projects in the Republic of Croatia, such as renovation of the Port of Rijeka and of the railway infrastructure.
The collocutors also mentioned the successful cooperation of the two states within the United Nations.
